We are New Jersey's premier LGBTQ+, wife-and-wife wedding planning team, best friends, and the heart behind The Butterfly Effect Weddings. Our journey began with a swipe in 2020 that quickly grew into a shared passion for intentional storytelling—a transition inspired by planning our own wedding in Heidelberg, Germany. We aren’t just queer business partners; we are a team that genuinely enjoys being in each other’s company. Whether we are traveling the world or at home in New Jersey with our pup, Nutella, we are almost always talking about weddings because we truly love the craft.
We believe the way a wedding feels matters just as much as how it looks. The "Butterfly Effect" in our name is a tribute to the legacy of Amalia’s father, who taught us that the smallest, most intentional choices—a quiet glance, a handwritten note, or a song at just the right moment—ripple together to shape how your day is felt and cherished. Because we live and work together, our communication is seamless.
